Day 1 – Welcoming wine and snacks will kick start your gourmet getaway ! Settle in and explore your surroundings while our chef prepares the first of many scrumptious traditional meals…
Day 2 – Rise and shine..and off to beautiful Bolgheri. Today’s activities include wine tasting, a fine restaurant lunch and a wander around the ancient little shops. Back home to the villa and..cook cook cook !
Day 3 – Today we’re cheese tasting, visiting an olive mill (available during olive milling season), and a quick visit to a tiny pasta making factory. A relaxing lunch and wine tasting is followed by your second cookery course.
Day 4 – Today’s scenic drive to San Gimignano will take you to your 3rd wine tour and truffle or saffron based lunch. Wander around the beautiful medieval town then cook your own pizza at the villa in the evening !
Day 5 – A laid back breakfast together before your airport transfer. We can chat about our time spent together and who knows….maybe plan your next trip with us!
Day 1 – Arrival at Pisa Airport – Transfer to the villa and welcoming drinks and snacks. Time to relax and meet your hosts and getaway companions for an introduction and general information about the tours and activities.
Our chef will be busy preparing your welcoming dinner at the venue.
Day 2 – Visit Bolgheri, a much loved medieval hamlet which is the Wine Capital of the Etruscan coast. Here you’ll enjoy a top class wine and olive oil tasting session and quality lunch.
Day 3 – Meet the Etruscans! A breathtaking tour of the Gulf of Baratti and its stunningly clear water. Visit the Etruscan necropolis and Populonia. Free time to enjoy a cappuccino and some shopping followed by a wine tasting tour at ‘Poggio Rosso’ Winery.
Day 4 – Spa & Wine. Time to be pampered in the Thermal Baths of Sassetta , with lunch in the biodynamic farm restaurant, followed by wine tasting at the nearby ‘Petra Winery’.
